No LPG shortage, says HPCL

Visakhapatnam: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has assured customers that domestic LPG supplies remain stable and adequate despite geopolitical developments. The company said distribution continues uninterrupted, with over 15.2 lakh cylinders dispatched daily, in line with normal levels. Nearly 93% of refill bookings are made through digital platforms such as IVRS, SMS, HP PAY, and WhatsApp. On April 3, HPCL supplied 36,188 KL of petrol and 67,339 KL of diesel across its retail network. To curb malpractices, over 3,650 inspections were conducted, with action against 31 distributors, including 12 suspensions. Authorities carried out 653 raids, registered 40 FIRs, and seized 3,163 cylinders.
